Japan race intelligence
A Japan marathon is not just a date. First determine whether you can secure a place.
See current organizer status, overseas routes, deadlines and source freshness in one workspace. Unknown information remains unknown; last year’s process is never silently presented as this year’s rule.
Live finder
Build a shortlist by month, entry state and source freshness.
Compare up to three races across date, price, entry state and source health, then share the exact comparison with another runner.

Entry playbook
Japan race entry routes cannot be treated as one system.
These are planning principles, not race terms. Exact eligibility and deadlines remain tied to the organizer excerpts on each race page.
Separate ballots from first-come entry
For ballots, protect the result and payment dates. For first-come races, prepare the account, card and timezone before the opening moment.
Verify overseas residency and payment
An English page does not automatically mean overseas allocation. Check residence rules, caps, payment methods and address requirements.
Keep travel refundable before entry
Do not let a non-refundable flight dictate the race decision. Preserve a Plan B, then compare stays against an official start or pickup place once entry is secure.
Convert every moment from JST
Japan deadlines normally use JST. Race Guide keeps the source timezone in alerts and .ics files so a draw date never becomes a guessed race time.
