Chicago, Berlin and New York have official shorter events that let supporters or marathoners experience race weekend without adding another 42.2K.
One trip, different runners
Cape Town combines road Peace Runs and trail distances; Gold Coast has an established half, 10K, 5K and junior ecosystem. Different people can target different distances without planning separate trips.
Availability is part of the recommendation
An interesting event that is sold out is not an entry recommendation. RaceZip makes that constraint visible instead of burying it in organizer navigation.
